The IZ is committed to upholding the personal rights and dignity of children, adolescents and adults, and to treat them with care and respect.
Above all in training settings, in projects with volunteers, young people or disadvantaged target groups, the IZ, together with its employees, trainers and partners, undertakes all necessary efforts to create a safe environment for the participants and prevent all forms of abuse and discrimination. For this, the IZ has developed guidelines for the protection of children, adolescents and adults, which serve as a basis for working with different target groups and partners. A working group in the IZ deals with the implementation and further development of the guidelines.
